Laptop Recording Studio

laptop recording studio
What would i need to start a home recording studio?

I've got some money and a job so i'm not majorly fussed about money (though i don't wanna be paying 10k.. i just need decent equipment)

I realize i need..

A condenser mic
A laptop
A sound card
FL Studio or Cubase
A pop filter

What are good quality items of the above mentioned.. And have i left anything out?

A good (fast) laptop or pc.
A synthesizer or keyboard would be nice.
A multiple track recording software like Cool Edit Pro.
A decent microphone
A good soundcard
Musical instruments? (guitar, bass?)

I myself only have a synthesizer, a microphone, Cool Edit Pro and my guitar.With that connected to my laptop I can make great tracks.
