How to link 2 Audio Mixers for more channels?
I would like to add 8 channels to my 24 channel Yamaha mixer by linking two mixers together. My Yamaha has an external power amp but the Peavey that I want to link to it with has its own power. Is this possible and how can I accomplish it.
As long as the Peavey has a "Line Out", you can do it. There are a couple of ways.
If you can afford to give up a channel on the Yamaha, just come from the Line Out on the Peavey to one of the channels on the Yamaha.
If you absolutely need every available channel, then go from the Peavey Line Out to an Aux Return on the Yamaha.
