How to make speakers louder?
Well, me and my band recently bought a mixer with speakers. The mixer is a studiomaster diamond 12-2, and the speakers are yamaha a4115h's. We plug 2 microphones in the mixer, 1 for lead vocals, and 1 for backup(which we have at a volume that is a little lower than the lead vocals), and we also plug the bass into it. We are a pop punk band, so we play pretty loudly. But, we can't hear the vocals over the band. So we were wondering if there's anything we can do to get the speakers to be louder so our singer can be heard over the band. Also, is it possible that our mics are the problem? We have some pretty cheap mics, they are Digital Reference DR-VX1's.
P.S. I dont think this really matters, but the bass we plug into the mixer is a Fender Squire Jazz Bass.
The volume is up all the way by the way. And the mixer is up as far as it can go without feedback
you turn up the volume
