Need advice on recording device for music?

Im looking to purchase a digital 8 track recorder or some sort of recorder. Im not looking for nothing fancy. Just something that i can record 2 guitars, drums, bass, and singing. Im a fan of 60s garage,MC5, the stooges, sabbath, and the blues, etc. i dont need anything fancy because the type of music im trying to record does not sound good if it is digitally mastered or anything like that. its about raw power. the band i use to be in used the korg d-888 8-track digital recording studio. this is too expensive for me. any recommendations?

Thook - a true 8 track digital recorder that can record 8 independent tracks simultaneously will be expensive.

The best "cheap" way to get this done it to just use a 8 channel mixer (maybe you already have one?) and connect the right and left tape outputs to a USB recording interface. Very easy and will make a nice recording. This is the interface I have and it works great:
