What is a good portable digital camera for recreational use?

Im going to study abroad this summer in Australia so I want to get a pocket-sized digital camera to remember the trip. Something around the price range of $150 is ideal but im willing to go anything 200 and under. Some sort of zoom would be nice but I dont need anything too crazy. video would also be an added plus but I would be using that function rarely.
