recording basics
What mixing/recording program would you recommend for beginners?
I'm looking for a comupter program to record and mix songs on. I know the basics of recording techniques: I'm looking for a program that will allow me both easy options for a beginner as well as more advanced options for later use that won't break that bank.
http://audacity.sourceforge.net is free, excellent in quality, and has a great support community.
