How can I start a recording studio?

I have been recording my own music and various bands that i've been in for about 6/7 years now, but I'd like to start a studio as a small business. The caveat: no DAW (...I know, what?!?!). I don't have the money or the temperament to deal with recording onto software and updating all the time, but I DO edit with computers.
Equipment: I use compressors into a Behringer mixer and then into either a Digital 8 track or analog sampling inputs in my memory expanded MPC1000. 8/10 tracks at once, i think. I have several sm57's and two condensers. Drumset, two guitar amps, two guitars.
Q: How do I get someone to go for recording at my place? I feel confident in my recording techniques/mixing abilities to deal with the public, but how do I overcome the fact that everyone has a home studio? Tough question probably, but thanks for the help.

Try this, this is what my brother did
find an area with no other studio's to compete with if possible
give out CD's you have recorded to prove you do good quality recording
advertise wherever garage bands usually play, perhaps give out coupons or whatever for recording, get people in the studio, then impress them with your skills
