Series Speaker
How should I wire 4 individual speakers into 1 speaker? Series or Parallel?
I want to make 2 of these speakers so I have a total of 40 watts, but can I wire my two 20 watt amps in parallel to get lots of current to make up for the lack of voltage so that I can run 40 watts
Irv is correct, you cannot parallel amplifiers.
lack of voltage can't be overcome. The current and power is determined by the impedance of the speakers. so in that sense, you can wire speakers in parallel, which lowers the impedance and increases the current, and thus the power. Until the amps overheat or run out of drive capability.
run each amp into two speakers in parallel, that's the best you can do. Watch out to get the phasing correct.
