What do i need to connect a mic to a guitar amp?
Do i need a mixer board or computor to put the sound through? Thanks.
A mixer is the preferred method of interfacing a mic to the amp, as it allows better control over the EQ than the amp.
However, if you're on a budget and just need something quick and dirty, you can plug the mic directly in if it's a high impedance mic (ie, it has a 1/4" plug on it). If it's a low impedance balanced XLR (3 pin) connection, then you'll need an adapter like this:
