DVD recorder and Digital Tv question?

Ok, so here's the deal. I bought a new LCD tv with a digital tuner built into it. If I buy a DVD recorder with no digital tuner will I be able to record? I am looking at the Toshiba D-R400 DVD Recorder Player.

You can record only if the TV has audio/video outputs. I haven't seen one that has both. Usually it will only output audio. Take a look at the outputs on your TV. If you have both audio and video, then you could use your TV tuner as the source for the DVD recorder.
