DVD to VHS copy on same player/recorder?
I have a combo DVD/VHS player/recorder. Should I be able to simultaneously play a DVD and record it onto VHS? I'm sorry I don't have all the model info on me (I'm not at home), but this seems reasonable, right? There are NO copyright issues; I am referring to a personal DVD recorded onto mini dvd right from a standard camcorder; the minis play fine and I'd like to record them onto one VHS.
I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to. If it doesn't work automatically, you might consider running a cable from the output back to the input and seeing how that turns out....
